March Small Businesses of the Month
Small businesses are the heart of our communities! Here at Ruhl&Ruhl, we love to support locals and engage with the areas we serve in any way we can. So, let's help them out and spread the word about their great services!
Below are this month's featured businesses in all of our areas:
Bettendorf/Davenport: Twin Span Brewing has been consistently voted one of the Quad Cities favorite gluten free spots. Their expertly designed menu has something for everyone and changes seasonally—it is sure to get your mouth watering! They also have a Certified Cicerone® head brewer who has crafted a wide range of ales and lagers in classic styles and new experiments. Join their fan group to get a behind-the-scenes look at their brewhouse, pitch and vote on future recipes, and chat with their brewer. Burlington: Grandpa's Homemade Ice Cream is family owned and operated with so much goodness to offer! Their variety of ice cream flavors include black raspberry, apple crisp, peach, cheesecake, lemon, dark chocolate, coffee, and so much more! It doesn't stop at the ice cream though, they also have delicious cookies in s'mores, peanut butter cup, and banana cream pie. All of these items are certainly worth the trip in our opinion!
Cedar Rapids/Iowa City: 30hop has been open for 10 years now and still brings all the good energy when you walk through those doors! You can enjoy your meal and drinks outside on their patio or have your food ready for pickup when you order online. Did we mention that happy hour is Sunday–Thursday from 3-6 PM? What better excuse to dine out during the week? Also, if you love 30hop so much, you can join their rewards program, where you earn 5% back on all online and in-store orders! Clinton/DeWitt: El Toro Restaurant and Cantina is an authentic Mexican restaurant that has been locally owned and operated since 1994. Having been in business for thirty years, we believe they have mastered the recipe for margaritas, since we have heard they are the best! They even have margarita bottles for sale in different flavors such as lime, strawberry, peach, and more (which sometimes are buy one get one free). You will never go hungry or thirsty when you stop here–we know we wouldn't!
Dubuque: Next Level Energy is a local health store and juice bar that offers a wide array of drinks and supplements that will fuel you with more than enough energy to get you through your day. From their specialty lit teas to their filling meal replacement shakes, you'll find everything you need at their lifestyle store. They also have energy bars, boba, and kid drinks available too. Moline: The Atlas Collective provides the coziest atmosphere for anyone to enjoy their reading or a cup of coffee, tea, or energy drink. They host a book club twice a month with tickets that include a book, bookmark, snacks and drinks the night of, and access to shopping in their store after hours! If you can't make it in and want to browse their inventory online, they allow you to purchase the books and get them shipped directly to your home. You can also purchase audiobooks through the store as well. When they have such goodness to offer, what's there not to love at The Atlas Collective?
Muscatine: Energy 108 Yoga is a yoga studio that offers beginner-friendly yoga classes, workshops, and meditation practices. Additional services offered are private classes, yoga at work, and reflexology. They post up-to-date information about the class schedules and workshops on their Facebook page, and occasionally you'll see a fun special going on. Step into all the good energy and vibes when you take a class at Energy 108!
