What's Happening in Moline - Restaurants
Coffee/Cafes
Revive Cafe is a wellness center offering everything from your morning brew to yoga and massage. But in terms of food, Revive is a great place to find local, sustainable, and from-scratch items that are delicious and environmentally friendly! Dead Poet's Espresso Ever wondered what Shakespeare would be if he was a drink? According to this Moline cafe, he's a salty turtle mocha. An enchantingly themed cafe, Dead Poet's Espresso will have you thinking outside the box when it comes to your afternoon coffee treat. There is breakfast and then there is a QC Pancake House breakfast. Photos don't do this restaurant justice! Order the Triple Berry Waffle and your plate will be covered in more berries than waffles, perfect for those who love a decadent breakfast! For our savory friends, their skillets and omelets are taken directly out of our culinary dreams.
Fine Dining
Johnny's Italian Steakhouse is known for their, well, their steaks! And for good reason, they offer an assortment of gourmet cuts and styles of steak. If pasta or seafood is more your style, Johnny's is still the place for you as they have complimentary entrees that are equally as flavorful as Johnny's Chanel No. 5. If you haven't checked out Bass Street Chop House's new location, we recommend dining here in their new space overlooking the river! Plus with the finest cuts of meat and seafood jetted in fresh not only will the view win you over but so will the food!
Casual Dining
Lemon Grass Cafe isn't your typical Thai restaurant. With a regularly updated mix of classic and contemporary, LemonGrass is sure to wow even the most die hard Thai food connoisseurs. We highly recommend splitting a couple of the house specialties with the table for the full LemonGrass experience. Loved for their unique menu items like their cream cheese pickle rolls, melon and goat cheese salad, and zesty sangrias, among other things Cafe Fresh! leans into what sets them apart. Even though Cafe Fresh was "created to be unlike any other," you'll find sandwiches, burgers, wraps, and all your favorites here too! No town is complete without a local deli! And The Little Brown Box Delicatessen is Moline's go-to spot for gourmet sandwiches. With a slogan like 'What a Bar and Grill Should Be. This Ain't No Chain Restaurant,' River House will win over those looking for good food that can't be replicated at any ol' bar and grille. True to the traditional bar and grille style many dishes are fried to perfect or seared just the way you like it. Bad Boyz Pizza - If you're looking for a pizza place that pleases both the picky eaters and the thrill seekers in your lives, look no further than Bad Boyz. Check out Bad Boyz pizza! Between their classic cheesy bread and Taco pizza, we're sure you'll find your next slice of heaven.

Does it get any better than a cold brew and a burger? Add an order of cheese curds and you've got a happy patron. Whether a fan of the curds or not, Bent River Brew Company is still a good choice for a local beer, apps and entrees. Join their Mug Club for drink specials and points you can use towards beer or merchandise! Galena Brewing Company is hands down one of the best places in Illinois to grab a brew, whether in Moline or Galena! At the Moline location you can order your beer and also order in food from local hot spots like Bad Boyz, Dead Poet's Espresso, Shameless Chocoholic, River House, and many more on Grubhub, Uber Eats, Order 2 Eat, MyTown2Go, etc. We love when locals support locals! Bier Stube Bar and Grille Channel your inner Bavarian at Bier Stube. Harty American-German fare paired with an EXTENSIVE list of imported beers makes for an evening that is truly wunderbar.
Sweet Treats
The Shameless Chocoholic - When you enter The Shameless Chocoholic, we fully advise you to let your inner child call the shots. Do you know what a shmurtle is, exactly? No. Does it look delicious? Two places that need no introduction are Lagomarcino's and Whitey's Ice Cream. Lagos came to Moline in 1908, and this establishment is known for its candies, ice cream, and hot fudge. Whitey's is also a long-standing staple in the area. Founded in Moline in 1933. I Voted Best in the Midwest multiple times it's unique and delicious ice cream flavors are why you'll be waiting in a long line to get your dessert any day of the week!

Le Mekong Vietnamese Restaurant - According to Our Digital Marketing Coordinator, a recent Augustana grad, Le Mekong is where many Augie students from Vietnam went for their Vietnamese food. That alone tells you all you need to know about the authenticity of Le Mekong's menu.
