Those who live in Burlington are fortunate to be surrounded by boutiques and stores unique to their community that are filled with items you can't find anywhere else. Home Décor & Art

The Fort Madison Area Art Association is a local art gallery and community center that encourages residents to participate and appreciate local artwork. You can visit their website to see upcoming events that range from Paintings, jewelry, ceramics, photography, and more. If you're looking to broaden your horizons, try attending an opening night for an exhibition, galleries and classes are updated monthly! When you visit the Harvestville Farm, you'll find an endless number of outdoor activities that include a Zinnia Festival, Sunflower Festival, and more events for each season. While at the farm, you must stop in Harvestville Mercantile to shop all things for the home! It's your place to go for "blankets, table settings, wall hangings, wreaths, candles, you name it! They always have seasonal decorations for your home."

Thrifting & Vintage

What's better than a well-maintained consignment store? A multi-level well-maintained consignment store! "Stage 2, located in Fort Madison, IA is the crème da la crème of thrifting in the area." With three floors of clothes, accessories, household items, decor, art/office supplies, etc. we see why it's a must-stop shop! Stage 2 gets so much new stuff they have a limit on what can be brought in!  It's a "good thing there is no limit on how much you can buy!" Pool 19 combines two of our favorite things – plants and records! Located in Fort Madison, Pool 19 is named for the section of the Mississippi river Fort Madison resides, which you can see from the storefront. A perfect place to explore to give your home a unique touch!

Jewelry

Dana Bushong Jewelers is home to beautiful fine jewelry and this shop has a large following. It may be because of the showstopping gemstones, but it may also be because of the ability to customizable your pieces! If you are looking for an investment piece of jewelry, you will not be disappointed by the selection and customization.

Clothes

It's classic and chic, it's CSky Boutique! Self-proclaimed as Burlington's "original" boutique, this shop gives plenty of timeless options to add to your wardrobe. Whether you need to dress for work or the next Iowa game, CSky Boutique has you covered. Your place to find a huge assortment of women's accessories and apparel. Gypsi on Jefferson prides itself on being size exclusive and offering 'amazing accessories and amazing apparel.'
