Hi! My name is Salomon Valdez, or Sal for short, and I’m excited to join Ruhl&Ruhl Realtors as the newest member of our Moline office. I am committed to providing Dedication, Integrity, and Professionalism to every client during their real estate journey.

Originally from Monmouth, IL, I now reside in Rock Island, IL, with my wife and our three children—two school-aged daughters and a 3 year old son. I hold my real estate license in both Iowa and Illinois, am fluent in Spanish and I am mobile and willing to meet wherever is most convenient for you.

I earned my master’s degree in Spanish from the University of Texas at San Antonio and my bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. My full-time job is with the State of Illinois and 14 years of experience with the state has earned me valuable experience and connections in the community.

Combined with the State of Illinois I have a decade of hands-on landlord experience having brought multiple properties out of unlivable scenarios and back to the rental market. Taking the bumps and bruises along the way has taught me valuable lessons, allowing me to guide my clients away from similar mistakes and provide expert support for their investment needs
