When buying or selling a property, it would be easy to think the buyer and seller could reach an agreed price, exchange money and keys and move on. However, it is so much more complicated than that! There are multiple legal and financial steps that must be taken. When we decided to sell a property, we contacted Lisa Werner, told her what we thought we wanted for it, and she took it from there. She guided us as the seller and also the buyer through the steps needed to complete the transaction. A market appraisal was needed to confirm our asking price was reasonable. The buyer needed a loan appraisal from his lending institution. Attorneys were contacted to bring the abstract up to date and other legal necessities. Professional inspections were needed for sewer and radon. There were many other steps we were not aware of. Lisa took care of everything! She kept us informed of every step along the way. We did not have to do anything! We are extremely grateful for her diligence and hard work in making this transaction. As long as she is in the business of reality, she will be our go to realtor!
