Born and raised in Clinton, Iowa I’m an Iowan through and through. Growing up I always had a deep appreciation for nature and the outdoors, so I attended Iowa State University where I majored in landscape architecture. After graduation, I opened and managed a landscape and nursery business and later was a forester for the city of Moline.
I haven’t moved too far from my hometown as I now reside in the North Scott area, and that’s because I love living and working in the Quad Cities.
I started my real estate career in 1995 after looking for a flexible opportunity where I could work with those in my community. Over 25 years later I still love that I get to grow my business and work with family and friends to achieve their home buying dreams.
Outside of real estate, I value being a part of many local organizations. I am the chairperson of Eldridge Trees Forever and am a member of the QC Homebuilders Associate “Green” Task Force. I also volunteer my time to Junior Achievement, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and sit on the Board of Directors of Eldridge-North Scott Chamber, Luther Manor, Lutheran Lakeside, and North Scott Rotary.
An avid sports fan, I enjoy watching and rooting for the Chicago White Sox and the Green Bay Packers, an odd combo, I know. Many people have tried to sway me, but I’m a cheesehead for life! I also enjoy being active and love to work outside, play racquetball, and kayak.
I have two grown sons and two granddaughters who live in Denver. I enjoy traveling to see family and often drive to Colorado to visit. Give me a good oldies rock station, an open road and I’m a happy guy.
