Derrick has been a Quad City resident since 1996. He graduated with a Business Degree from St. Ambrose University and played football for the Bees. Derrick is originally from Sigourney, IA and is the oldest of three.

Derrick has a strong understanding of the real estate market from over 17 years of experience as a real estate appraiser with DataSource Appraisal in Bettendorf, Iowa. He continues to appraise real estate for DataSource since becoming a Realtor for Ruhl & Ruhl Realtors. His experience will allow him to better serve his clients and their real estate interests.

Derrick and his wife, Amy are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters; Maggie and Abigail. Derrick is also a football and wrestling coach at Davenport Assumption High School. He believes that a positive attitude and good work ethic are the keys to success in business and in life. As a coach, he incorporates these principles into his training to develop his players into becoming the best they can be on and off the field and mat.

Derrick’s focus is on providing excellent customer service throughout the home buying or selling process. He will allow you to focus on the many changes going on in your lives while alleviating some of the stress the home buying or selling process can create.
