Coffee & Sweet Treats

Whether you need a strong cup of coffee or a decadent pastry you can’t go wrong with the coffee shops and bakeries in Bettendorf. Coffee Apothocary is a spot to grab your coffee and scone, they also have delicious sandwich options. Coffee Hound, over by TBK is where you go for gourmet coffee with delicious options like Monster Cookie, Snickers, Oreo lattes, frappes, and beans. Also, very pup-friendly, you may have guessed that by the name. Atomic Coffee Bar has no shortage of caffeinated drinks that will keep you energized all day, especially when you have the option to add two extra shots of expresso, but you can also get some hot teams and smoothies. Small Town Pastry truly can make it all, from wedding cakes to fresh baked goods and sandwiches. The baked goods are your traditional favorites, and once you have one of their croissants, you’ll be a customer for life!

Brewery

Bettendorf has the breweries! With so many to choose from, it’s best to try them all! And luckily, no matter where you go in Bettendorf you’re always by one!

Twin Span Brewing offers great craft beer paired with equally great food. It’s a popular spot to grab a bite and a brew because of its great outdoor patio and close proximity to TBK sports center.

A little off the beaten path is Nerdspeak Brewery,  which we think is strategic. With a motto like ‘Unleash Your Inner Nerd,’ this brewery wants to bring out the nostalgia of ‘Saturday morning cartoons,’ video games, and sweet music while also delivering on creating wonderful craft beer.

Adventurous

Crawford Brew Works is the perfect place to stop in for your favorite brew to enjoy and relax. And there are a lot of areas within to do so! Hang in the lounge, The Mess or the patio (which is kid and dog friendly with fire pits!).

5ive Cities Brewing has a wide variety of craft beers ranging from IPAs to Porters. For those who don’t love beer, come for fine wine or a flavorful cider.  Also Try a ‘High on Henry’s which we assume is named after Brew Dog, Henry who helps oversee the brewing process, and of course naps.

Casual Dining

The Tangled Wood is an expansive restaurant/venue that is guaranteed to deliver a good time. Often with live music in the ‘8,000 square foot patio oasis’ you’ll find an outdoor patio and dining area to enjoy Midwest favorite dishes, but you can also bring your own lawn chair and enjoy the entertainment. It’s truly an experience like no other in Bettendorf, maybe even the QC!

A Zeke’s location can be found in multiple places in the Quad Cities, it’s loved that much! Their Bettendorf location, Zeke’s Island Express has the dishes you know and love from other locations that are influenced by island flavors like the Hawaiian pulled pork and Caribbean combo.

Cheesy Cow is for the mac’n’cheese lovers. They have some pretty outrageous flavors like ‘Walking Taco’ and ‘Steak Fajita’ but they of course have a good ol’ original Mac. And if noodles aren’t your thing, they have melts, grilled sandwiches, and quesadillas. However, a nice hybrid would be a Macarrito.

Riverside Grille is big on the casual, family-friendly atmosphere. It’s a favorite place to go to get a low-key dinner and drinks while also catching a sporting event.

Big flavors you don’t have to feel guilty about! Olive Tree Cafe is a Mediterranean restaurant that highlights the healthy, rich food of the Mediterranean in a cozy setting.

Italian Cuisine

Grinders Spaghetti House is an Italian staple in the Quad Cities. Loved for their comfort Italian you can’t go wrong with any dish like Manicotti, Tortellini, and Ravioli.

Mio Russo Sicilian Bar +Table has a storied past that begins in the 50’s and 60’s. The original Russo restaurants were originally located in Cedar Rapids in the 1950s and with a desire to honor family traditions the Russo recipes were revived in Bettendorf. Some in for aromatic pizzas, sandwiches, and appetizers!

Italian food at its best, that’s Trattoria Tiramisu.  Loved by many for its authentic dishes and nod to tradition, it’s a preferred spot to get favorites from fettuccini to marsala. And of course, you must get tiramisu, but we won’t blame you if you spring for a cannoli instead.

Fine Dining

Monarch is becoming a favorite spot for friend gatherings and date nights. They have a long list of delicious wines and cocktails matched with an impressively diverse and mouth-watering menu. You’ll enjoy every bite from the appetizer to the dessert!

Hemispheres Bistro, you have guessed from its name but Hemispheres is based on wanting to offer global cuisine with strong flavor profiles not found elsewhere in the Quad Cities. It’s modern yet relaxed dining.

Mexican Cuisine

Verde is a small but mighty dining establishment in downtown Bettendorf that serves up contemporary Mexican dishes as you’ve never seen them before. A truly unique and artistic way to challenge your taste buds. It is strongly recommended to make reservations at this 12 top restaurants, spots fill up quickly!

D’Lua blends Mexican and American flavors in classic dishes that are sure to please any one looking to fill up on large plates of nachos, tacos, enchiladas and more. They also offer breakfast all day that also showcases their unique pairings, like ‘Churro Pancakes!’

Baja Tacos & Shots is Mexican cuisine with a twist! From the name you know you can find flavorful tacos and signature shots, but you can find much more at Baja when it comes to food and cocktails.

Burrito happy hours? We’re there! California Burritos has several locations throughout the Quad Cities and is loved for its customization of burritos and tacos and for its spice!
