Welcome !

Get to know a little about me ; I am from the small town of Rapids City/ Port Byron Illinois. I have two amazing parents still living in my hometown, Lorie & Roger McGeehon. I am currently living in Davenport Iowa. I bought my own home at a very young age of 20, actually with Ruhl & Ruhl , and I am very familiar with the Quad City area. I have tried life outside of the Quad Cities , I moved to Chicago at the age 17 for two years to pursue & achieve a degree of science in Baking, Pastry, & Cullinary at the top of my class at Kendall College.  As you can see I came back , there isn't anything quite like the Quad Cities! 

I eventually started an official one woman home buisness on my own, Thicc Kitchen, and have been serving the community for a little over two years now. With a total of almost 7 plus years in the restaurant and service industry, I feel like I can really connect with the public and would love to get to know my communty on an even deeper level. You're probably thinking that real estate seems like a far reach from working in the kitchen, but some could say I'm very passionate, motivated, and persistent about learning more in the world and serving my community. Having the knowledge I do in the service industry always keeps me on my toes but very organized and ready for anything. I think that puts me at a great advantage for success.

 Buying a home for me was one of the most amazing, scary, and powerful things I could have done to date, and I believe many others may feel that way. If I can make the home buying and selling processes that much easier for people , people like me , people I can relate to, then my goal has been acheived.

Believe it or not betweeen food, my dog , and spending time with my BBBS little, my schedule is very flexible, and I am always available for a chat. I would love to help any homeowner or future homeowner make their dreams come true. Who knows maybe I can even teach you how to cook in your brand new kitchen!
