Thea Dement

My name is Thea Dement and I am a licensed REALTOR® in Iowa serving Dubuque, IA, and the surrounding area and a Real Estate investor in the tri-state area. I'm happy to help anyone buy, sell, or invest in real estate.  

I love to help the underrepresented people in our community, including first-time homebuyers, military families, minorities, and the LGBTQ+ community. If you don't feel comfortable with traditional realtors, I might be perfect for you. I am smart and straightforward and don't mind if you want to text or email instead of talking on the phone.

I received my MBA with a Marketing Emphasis in 2018 with the goal of starting my own business. I happily serve as the Vice-Chairperson of the Historic Preservation Commission for the City of Dubuque. I am working on getting my At Home with Diversity and Military Relocation Professional designations from the National Association of REALTORS® and getting licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin. 

I have lived in Dubuque for 8 years since marrying my husband Bob, who is from a 5th generation Dubuque family, a Marine Veteran, and a member of our local Filipino community. We have four fur babies: our dog Harley and three cats: Little Mew, Charlie, and Ernie. I enjoy reading, writing, playing and singing music at church, playing video games, and going on adventures to Renaissance Faires and TeslaCon.
