Stan Goodyear

I became interested in being a Realtor through involvement with real estate transactions as a lender for almost 30 years at Northwest Bank & Trust Company and Walcott Trust & Savings Bank.  I came to the Quad Cities after graduating from Illinois State University, where I received a BS and MS in accounting, to work for McGladreys (now RSM).  Years of lending and thousands of transactions have made me familiar with all types of real estate transactions (residential, rental, farm land, and commercial properties) throughout the Quad Cities area from Wilton to Clinton, Iowa and Andalusia to Silvis, Illinois. Additional experience as a trust officer has given me knowledge in working with estates and trusts.

I continually work to build my knowledge in various areas to help buyers and sellers of real estate.  I am a CPA and CFP®.  I am licensed as a real estate agent in Iowa and Illinois and have earned special designations as a SRES® (Seniors Real Estate Specialist) and ABR® (Accredited Buyer’s Representative). 

I love being involved in the community, and am currently on the Board of the Illowa Council of Boy Scouts, and am Treasurer of the Foundation of St. John’s Methodist Church.  I have previously served on the Boards of Wildwood Hills Ranch, Walcott Economic Development and Maternal Health Center and chaired the Audit Committee of the Quad Cities Community Foundation. 

I grew up on a farm in central Illinois and love working in my yard and being outside whether it is golfing, biking, hiking or camping.
