About Andrew
Muscatine is my hometown and, while I have not always lived here, I am happy to be back in this community. Activities that I enjoy include biking, camping, race car driving, and community devopment projects. I manage a rental property portfolio and enjoy having properties remodeled and seeing them become great places to live. I'm excited to help people find the homes and properties that let them live the life they desire.
Helping Buyers
Whether you are looking for your first home, or ready to scale up or downsize, there is a home for you. There are many excellent neighborhoods in Muscatine and each has a unique feel and atmosphere. The West Hill Historic District is one of my favorite examples. The neighborhood extends up to the west from downtown and is a charming area with homes in a wide range of prices and level of updates and finish. It is within walking distance of downtown and the riverfront park & recreation facilities. And it's just a short drive to grocery shopping, the Muscatine Community Y, crossfit gyms, and Muscatine High School.
Helping Sellers
If you have considered selling your home I am happy to help you through the process. I am able to guide home sellers through decision making process, high level coaching for preparing homes for sale, arriving at a pricing strategy and using my marketing tools to presenet the property to the widest range of buyers possible. Once offers are received, I manage the process so that all parties reach the closing table on schedule. Service after the sale
Have you had a recent Real Estate Review of your home or other property? This annual "checkup" on activity in the regioin, in your neighborhood, and even on your street will help you make decisions about how to best manage your property. This is a service I provide to my clients and people wanting to make the most informed choices about their homes and investement property.
Also let me know if you need recommendations for contractors to complete projects on your home - large or small. I am happy to put you in touch with the people that I hire myself.

My wife and I had been looking for a house for a while but no luck. We stopped searching for a couple of months. I then told my wife we should start again. One of our friends recommended we should contact their real estate agent they worked with. So I did and called Andrew. Right away he was happy to help us. I went to his office and talked over a lot of things about purchasing a home. After that we started looking at homes. Some were really good others not so much. Andrew was always there for anything, he explained everything on every house. After a couple of weeks Andrew contacted me and asked me if I wanted to go see a house he thought we might like. I said of course! When we went to go see it right away my wife said she loved it, I too liked it a lot. I told my wife we shouldn't even go searching anymore. We told Andrew we wanted the house. After pickelball I stopped for a soak in the hot tub one day. Andrew happened to be there getting in a soak also. We chatted about real estate, and I casually commented that I noticed a beautiful victorian home for sale. It wasn't in my mind to buy a house anytime soon -- my credit score is nonexistent due to never taking out a loan and never owning a credit card. On top of that, I had been living with my parents for a few years so I didn't even have a recent record of paying utility bills. Although I wanted a house, I knew it wasn't likely to procure a loan from the bank with my financial situation looking like an unusual abstract art. But when I mentioned the victorian house, Andrew was encouraging and said it was highly possible to find a home available through a contract sale. I was shocked. It's possible to get a house without getting a loan from a bank? It was as if the airplane of my homeownership dreams had ascended from the stormy gray skies below into the vast, bright horizon above the clouds. My pulse quickened as he kept talking and explaining how it works. I tried to hide my excitement, but eagerly accepted the invitation to go see the victorian house. He not only lined up that house, but two other houses of similar character that we could see the same afternoon. It set the ball in motion. Everyday after that I spent time scouring over the real estate apps, looking intently at every possible home to achieve my newly awaked dream. Andrew patently showed me several more properties over the next weeks. He encouragingly steered me away from falling in love with properties that had serious downfalls. He helped me figure out what kind of home I was really looking for to serve all my needs, stay within budget, and truly enjoy living in. And then one day, there it was. 107 Roscoe. A contract sale on a delightful 3 bedroom house up on a hill. I couldn't be happier.
