Bed room is accented with the exposed log cabin wall and open ceiling. all trim is made from a large Oak tree that fell from a storm, milled then handmade by a local craftsman One wall is framed with hand hewed Oak barn timbers and the room is heated thru an old baseboard register. The Kitchen area features an open ceiling with 2 walls framed in Barn timbers and custom Oak details. The large expanse of the Studio is a blank slate waiting for a personal touch. It measures 27 x 47 with 10” ceilings. It has North facing bay window and salvaged Oak door leading into a custom mad wrought Iron balcony. Connected to this room are the bath with vintage claw foot tub, large 6x17 storage closet and another area that measures 6x9. The stairs to the lower level are supported by a salvaged solid walnut timber with steps made of wormy old oak and rough sewn cherry boards saved from a dumpster and a landing made with multi-colored salvaged pine from various structures. The Stairway opens into 2 adjoining rooms totaling 322 sq ft wired for 220 with a sink in place for a possible laundry room. Through a door is access to 540 sq ft of finished storage space. Finally a door opens to a full basement with 10 ft ceilings and large hand hewn oak barn timbers running through the center of this 32 x 47 expanse. This space is used for multiple purposes, it has 2- 2 x 6 framed and insulated walls on the walk out sides with garage door access for machinery, toys and cars as well as a gingerbread porch leading to the large yard.
