Iowa Communities 

Iowa, known as the Hawkeye State, is located in the Midwestern region of the United States.  Often referred to as the "Food Capital of the World, Iowa's economy, culture and landscape are diverse, now moving more into manufacturing, processing, financial services, biotechnology and green energy production.

Iowa is one of the safest states in which to live and its population is among the most literate and best-educated.  The state has the third highest graduation rate in the nation and continually ranks in the top three for ACT and SAT scores.

The Quad Cities is the name given to a group of communities on the banks of the Mississippi River - where the states of Iowa and Illinois are joined.  The Cities are comprised of the Iowa communities of Davenport and Bettendorf and the Illinois communities of East Moline, Moline and Rock Island.  The combined metropolitan population of the Quad Cities is approaching 400,000. 

 Residents in the Quad City area, and in other Iowa communities, have access to affordable housing, ranging from new construction to established neighborhoods and historic homes, as well as, the low cost of living and the excellent public and private schools Iowa is known for.

Iowa Quad Cities Communities

Davenport is the largest of the Quad Cities with a population of nearly 100,000.  It has a very strong concentration of riverfront entertainment, including a riverboat casino, bike path and walking trails, parks, water taxi, restaurants and many museums.  Davenport also boasts several cultural attractions, including the Figge Art Museum, River Music Experience and Putnam Museum and IMAX Theater, and plays host to the annual Bix Beiderbecke Memorial Jazz Festival and Bix7 race.  Davenport is a city rich in history and culture, making it a prime location for families.

Bettendorf adjoins Davenport on the Iowa side of the Quad Cities and has a population of 33,000.  It is the home to Alcoa North American Rolled Products, one of the largest aluminum rolling mills in the world.  From new construction housing to riverfront properties the city of Bettendorf offers a diverse housing market with some of the top rated schools in Iowa.
